Title: Handy Croissant tees up a handsome donation to local Chilterns Charity
When local business networking group Handy Croissant held its annual charity golf day recently at Hazlemere Golf Club it raised £740 for its chosen charity which this year is the Ian Rennie Hospice.

This sum was then generously matched by Barlcay's Bank Business Section in High Wycombe, making a grand total of £1480 going to the charity. Shown handing over the cheque to Christine Nesbit, an Honorary Vice-President of the Ian Rennie Hospice, are Michael Edwards, Treasurer of Handy Croissant and Mike Locke, Business Manager of Barclay's in High Wycombe. Commenting on the this generous addition to the charity's funds, Christine Nisbet commented “A donation like this will enable us to give many hours of nursing care. It's always a joy to know that there are people out there who care as much as we do”. The Handy Croissant Group derives its name from Holiday Inn  at Handy Cross, where it meets every Friday morning at 7.15am. Over the past 9 years the Handy Croissant  Group has raised over £12,000 for charity.
